Buca di Beppo

I ate at this restaurant in Washington, D.C. I didn't realize it was a chain at the time, but it feels like a chain. Kind of like Applebees where they have a ton of crap on the walls trying to make it look like they've been around forever and actually collected this stuff to be quirky. Meanwhile they probably bought it all wholesale. I thought the food was kind of gross. Jeff and I shared a giant plate of pasta since you order family style. Our waiter annoyed me to no end. The only thing I enjoyed was their stand up dessert menu that was decorated with tassles.

No! That was a different restaurant, I can't remember the name. That is where I fell in love with ricotta spinach pasta.
