Beer! Veggie Dogs! Cheap! This is my number one favorite place to go for a cheap meal and a beer. Veggie Dogs are piping hot off the grill. You can get them topped with sauerkraut as well. The only place to rival the beer selection here is the Sharp Edge.

Just wondering, are the veggie dogs cooked on the same grill as the regular dogs?

I referred the question of how Veggie Dogs are prepared to the email address listed for D's on their website. We'll see what/if their response is. I've always assumed they were cooked seperate, but then, I never asked or looked, so I don't actually know. I know I'm not the only vegan to eat there, we have been there with three other vegans as well.

Here is an exact quote I got from a D's Six pack and Dogz representative: "Nathan, we cook them to the customers request. Grilled with animal fat, microwaved or put through a conveyor oven." I believe his intent was to say, we'll do them however you want them. I replied again just to get some clarification on a) DO they actually have a conveyer oven? b) Is there a seperate grill available for preparing the veggie 'dogz'? So hopefully I will hear back.

when I was there it looked like there was one big grilling surface and that is where they cook all of the dogs. maybe you need to have them microwave it if you are concerned about contact with the regular dogs.
