One of the few places I trust for Indian food, although I don’t go that often. Half price time after 11pm also means double the spiciness.

India Garden
By far one of the best Indian food i had in US. One thing will be bothersome though, they swear in there language to most of the American customers. I came back from India on an assignment with At&T and of-course learned all the bad words first in India. I was with two professors and one colleague and waiter seating us in his language told other waiter that these assholes are fat so give em a lot of water what that means i a am not sure.
I mentioned it to my friends after we had dinner and all had a good laugh
food is good but people working need to check manners

My boyfriend (who is from India) and I have been lucky never to hear the employees talking about us---probably because the music is so loud (ref. to Oakland). Don't get me wrong it makes it a really good atmosphere, but when the music is so loud that the waiters can't even hear your order, especially when its in their native language, that would be a good sign that the music is too loud. The food is good however my boyfriend thinks its average. The half price menu keeps us going back, however when we go to the Oakland location we leave very aggitated. We're lucky if we get our water refilled once throughout the meal, we never got a correct order, and the waiters act like you're a burden. If you are going to take advantage of India Garden's half price, go to Monroeville. If you can't, go to Oakland's lunch buffet.
