Lulu's Noodles & Yum Wok - I don't get it...

This place is my least favorite place to eat. I generally get vegetarian fried rice. When I want Chinese food, I want vegetables and faux-meat options. Lulu’s doesn’t have that. It's all noodles with other junk. Its just not what I want I guess.

This is the classic Pittsburgh restaurant experience: Everyone assures you it is good. You don't believe them. Then a good friend tells you everyone has told THEM it is good. You remain dubious. The two of you go. You leave, never to return, cursing the world.

What is it that makes people not like this place? I love it. Nate is the only person that I know that actually doesn't like it (or so he says). I can think of plenty of nasty ass Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh and this place is nothing like them!

I don't get the hate either. Jeff detests this place, and I am in love with it. I have never had a bad meal here.

I think you may need to try LuLu's again. True, it's not quiet nor does it provide high-end service. However, for a well made, fast lunch on Craig Street, you can't be it. Try the Pad Thai, ask for it vegetarian and with tofu (they leave out the fish sauce).
