I went to Aladdin's the other night for the first time. I always heard 'ok' things about it from people at work, mostly that it is relatively inexpensive and the food isn't bad. We had the falafel appetizer and although I can't say I've tried falafel from many places, it was the best I've ever had so far. I always eat falafel at work, and it is usually dry and crumbly inside, maybe that is the way it is supposed to be, but the falafel I had was moist and very tasty!!! I also had the "Farrah's favorite Pizza" which is on a pita and has spicy tomato sauce, curried chicken, and some type of onions on it. It was good! And the menu has a lot of things on it which made it really hard to make a decision, but I was very happy with the food and the service.

Since my original review was a little lacking, I will comment on yours! Aladdin's is one of my favorite places to eat in Squirrel Hill, but it definitely isn't my favorite restaurant or anything. I like that they have so many options, although it seems like a lot of them are pretty similar. I usually get the hummus falafel wrap. That's good eatin'. However, whenever I eat in the restaurant, I don't like to eat too much of the pita bread they put on your table, because I usually get a wrap, and then it seems like I ate 14 pieces of pita bread.

I wonder if people from PIT will still like Aladdin's if they know their HQ is in CLE?
Nice falafel. I prefer a little more cummin flavour. Interesting combination with the deserts. No kibbie. Usually points off for no raw kibbie. Double points off, nada kibbie.
They really like this huge thin pita pocket with way too much lettuce. Too Mc-Burrito-ish. I do not need a pocket filled with lettuce the size of my head. The Big Pita. Not sure about that ad campaign.
Ok, for a mini chain. One of these days Mickey D's is going to do to middle eastern fare, just like they did Mexican.
