Buca di Beppo - Good Food - Overpriced - Distracting Decor

Mike and I were encouraged to try out Buca di Beppo because they serve large portions that are intended to be shared. Although we arrived around 4pm on a Sunday, we had to wait for about 8 minutes to be seated (imagine a Friday or Saturday night!). The food was great. Mike and I shared the small Spaghetti Aglio Olio (one of the least expensive choices), a small order of garlic bread, and we each had Pepsi. Garlic will be stinking from our pores for days but it was better than any garlic bread I have ever had. As the other reviewers have suggested, the portions were huge. Our bill came to $21.00.

While we were there, we heard 4 Frank Sinartra songs and saw an exorbitant number of exposed ta tas in the decorations. One poster-sized picture hanging directly above Mike's head was of a topless woman holding two watermelons in front of her nakedness. Somewhat distracting. There was also a picture of two 5/6 year-old boys smoking and another of butt cheeks covered minimally by panty-sized Levi's.

Another point to note is that there is no free parking in the area and we paid $4.00 to park for an hour. I doubt we will return despite the outstanding garlic bread.
