Rose Tea Cafe - The Place for Bubble Tea

If you like Taiwanese food or bubble tea, this is the place to go. They have a large assortment of teas and relatively good food. If you have never had bubble tea, boy are you missing out! The "bubble" part of the tea consists of large black tapioca. To drink it, you will be given a stout straw, the girth of which allows you to suck tapioca from mug to mouth. It's probably the best drinking experience you've had since milk bubbles with a loopy straw. Bubbles must make everything fun! Give this place a go.

We love this place and eat there often; I have reviewed it on my blog, too. I really like the Taiwanese Chunk chicken and my husband likes the beef with hot peppers. I think their noodle soups are good, too. I don't usually bother with the tapioca drinks because I think they're too expensive--almost as expensive as a whole dinner! I usually can't believe how fast they get the food to the table!

Nothing complain about the taste. But I will NEVER NEVER be there again! Last time my friends and I waited 25 miniutes for a table.
when at last our table was available and a waiter told us just waiting for their cleaning the table. At that time some new coming guys carried a bottle of red wine came in and sat down. Afer we should they did't make any reservation, we told the waiter what happened, the waiter said:" It is none of my business." and placed the order for those new coming guys. We told him we are suprised what he said and he make us think this table was for us. He just said:" I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK. Our business is always so good. YOU ARE NOTHING TO US!" and outspread arm to push us out!!!!!!

We were totally shocked! NEVER NEVER NEVER imaged this kind of words and this action!!

And sure, we complained with the managment. At first she said she did't know what happened and after she figured out what happened from the other waiters. she just promised she would find another table for us asap and customer was always right and she apologized for what happened!! That wasn't an APOLOGIZE what we need!!! when we argued, we feel they judged the customer as a valued or no value. Since we are just poor students and without blue eyes and white skin.We were always NOTHING to their!! Of course in the end we did't get the apologize we need. Of coure we definitely NEVER GO AGAIN! But if you are white guy or seems to be in the middle class, I recommended you to go there. Forget the reservation and first come first severst rule. You are always first. If you are not, man, just keep quite because you are nothing to them.

I HATE this place

To be honest, the food is pretty good, it is actually not too Americanized. Some of the waiters are nice, actually most are, but the owner makes this nice place into a hell whole.

I was there with my girlfriend, her sister, and her brother in law. This was probably my10th time eating at Rose Tea. I always paid for my girlfriend, her brother in law paid for her sister, and we always left a nice tip.

You would not believe how I was treated on the last and final time I will ever be seen at Rose Tea.

We were leaving and my girlfriends sister had just had a baby, they were talking to the owner, showing off their child and so forth when somehow my name came into the picture. They were speaking Mandarin to each other which I speak very little of and I could understand nothing. The owner asked why does that boy look like he’s dying? I am very thin, I have Crohn’s Disease. In the end, it ended up that the owner actually told my girlfriend to find someone healthier.

When my girlfriend told me this, I was in shock, I could not believe that a place where I go often, pay often, and tip nicely, would say something to rude. If I’m over reacting, then don’t bother with my review, but please if you do not want to hand money into the hands of such ignorant people, then never go to this place.
