Sheetz

I am a longtime fan of Sheetz, but I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Sheetz or even Steve Sheetz himself will see it.
Steve: you've made a HUGE mistake by getting rid of your veggie subz. Being a vegetarian, it was a staple of my diet. Now you've forced me to order the cheese subz with 3 kinds of cheese. Thats weak! I don't want to eat a huge block of cheese! I used to buy a footlong, now I can barely eat a 6 inch! I know I can ask for a special order - but now I have to do it in person and not on the touch screen computer. You've made me lazy Steve.
And I know you are slashing prices, and I like that. But you ruined the only thing on the menu I liked.
I enjoy a Shmiscuit every now and then, but since the veggie subz have gone away I just don't come back as much as I used to. You lost a good customer Steve. I imagine you are probably losing about $5 a week due to your company's stupidity. Knowing that this bad review will appear in Google though alongside of your website does make me feel better, so hopefully something will get done.
I'll come back and forgive you if these things are done soon:
1. Bring back the veggie subz - no huge block of cheese subz
2. Give me the ability to type in a special request on the touch screen computer
3. Follow #1 and #2.

Thanks
-Mike

Yesterday, I was running around doing many errands and stopped at Sheetz to grab something quick. Being a vegetarian and a non-junk food type, I was so amazed that Sheetz lacked ANYTHING that I could eat or even remotely resembled healthy. Aisles of fattening, sugar-ladened garbage blared before me in bright, colorful packaging. But alas, I could not come across a single item from their MTO screen or the aisles that I would even let close to my mouth.

I can't say that I've eaten anything at Sheetz lately, but I did stop in recently to get a drink, and was surprised to see my favorite brand of organic iced tea (Honest Tea) available in several flavors. The only difference is I'm used to getting them in glass bottles, and the ones in Sheetz were plastic bottles.

Didn't you write a letter to Mr. Sheetz himself awhile back? Did you ever hear anything from that?

I agree wholeheartedly. The three cheeses they put on the cheese hoagie are American, Swiss, and Provolone. I don't like American or Swiss cheeses. Plus, like you, I hate eating that much cheese in one sandwich. Many may suggest simply removing the cheese. Well, because it is the first thing they put on the sub, it cannot be removed without making a mess and removing all of the vegetables on the sub.

Once, I tried asking the MTO maker to only put on provolone. She pretended not to hear me the first several times I asked. After I began waving my hands she "noticed" me and said she'd do it. Unfortunately, she put the same amount of cheese on the sub which amounts to 6 slices. Yuck!

Oh how I miss the veggie sub!
