Mike and I were given a gift card for Bahama Breeze last year. We didn't want to waste the gift so we went online to find out where the nearest restaurant was. There is a location in Robinson so we checked out the menu online. While this might be a great place for non-vegetarians, it certainly isn't for vegetarians. There is one entree we could eat. It was the Sun-Drenched Portobello & Vegetable Sandwich.
When we got there (on a Wednesday night) there was a 25 minute wait and no space at the bar. We went outside to sit in the sun in the wicker chairs. They were comfortable but it still sucks waiting so long to be seated.
We ordered the Creole Baked Goat Cheese sampler as an appetizer and we both had the sandwich I mentioned before. We both liked the appetizer and Mike liked the sandwich. I thought the sandwich was over-spiced. By the end of the meal, I had a belly ache and wanted to leave. Mike didn't feel well either. The bill came to $34.
As we were leaving, Mike pointed out that there were a lot of older people there. It reminds me of the type of place I would go with my family when I was younger. Everyone wears a nice pair of jeans and a nice shirt. A lot of people like places like these. We don't. It's not our style, and for a vegetarian, it's not any good. So long Bahama Breeze!

Wow, I'm sorry. Bahama Breeze is where everyone went for work lunches in celebration of something (most often someone leaving). I abhor the place. The place, much like the rest of Robinson Town Center reaks of Suburban chain restaurant.
