D's SixPax & Dogz

Based on Nate's review of this place, Corinne and I went last night, and it was great! We split a large cheese fry, and it was giant and good. We both also had veggie dogz, and they were cooked up and were really tasty. I had horseradish, brown mustard, onions, dill pickle spears, and tomatoes on mine - and the waitress looked at Corinne and said "I feel sorry for you later." :)
They also have an impressive beer selection, but I totally forgot to get a root beer there! I am going to have to go back, because I was reading their menu and they apparently have good root beer.
When you first walk into this place - the AC is blasting and it was a little chilly. It is set up in an old Pizza Hut building and they've saved the booths - so that adds to the flavor of the place, its a nice touch for a bar/restaurant. There's a bunch of crazy crap on the walls of course - mostly beer signs that say things like "Life is too short to drink cheap beer".
If you know where the mini golf place is in Monroeville you'll be able to find this place. It is right across the street almost. Check it out for a good place to hang out and get some good food!

There is another D's 6 packs and dogz? I thought that the only one was on Braddock ave in Regent Square!

Indeed, it has just recently opened.

Best dogs around. I stop on way home from work a lot for a hot dog and to try one of the many beers they have in the cooler. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food! My daughter says the root beer is excellent. It didn't take long for me to become a repeat customer.

Unfortunately, D's discarded the quaint booths and replaced them with patio furniture. However, the food and service is excellent if you can get over the fact that you are sitting on the lap of the patrons seated next to you. Bring back the booths D's!!!!
