Mad Mex – Spring brings unexpected but mostly welcome changes

Mad Mex has changed in one way that is beneficial to all patrons. All Mad Mex restaurants are now non-smoking.

For Vegans there are two new additions to the menu that are both excellent. First is a vegan salad dressing, vegan Chipotle Ranch dressing. The dressing is fantastic and not all that ‘ranchy’ in my opinion, but it is great nonetheless. The second addition is Herb O’vore’s Tofu Tacos. These are not the same tacos that were on special in December; however they are still very good. Take a look at the here:

On the negative side, apparently Mad Mex’s website has been completely redone into a flash nightmare. It keeps Mooing at me. I don’t know why.

just so you know, when I first ate at Mad Mex I was told the Mexican rice is cooked in chicken broth.
