The Milk Street Cafe was the first place that we ate at in Boston. I read about it online and I was under the impression that it was going to be a Kosher vegetarian place for some reason. Maybe it was Kosher, but it certainly wasn't all vegetarian. That doesn't mean that I didn't like it, though. I had a dish called the Middle Eastern Plate that came with salad, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, hummus, and pita bread. It was very tasty, except, as I commented in Nate's post, the baba ghanouj was strangely fizzy tasting, like seltzer water or something. Very odd. Anyways, it seemed like a good place to go eat during your lunch hour. They had a variety of food, like panninis, fish, salads, sandwiches, etc. It was a little more expensive than I thought it would be, but I think food in general is more expensive in Boston than in Pittsburgh. I would recommend this as a tasty quick lunch stop to anyone visiting the city.

This place is a nice fairly vegetarian friendly option in downtown Boston. I had a Eggplant Parmesan Panini. Seen here:
It was very tasty. The portion size was a little small for my taste, but I like to jam myself to bursting full of food anyway. A few hours after eating I was still not hungry so it was apparently just right.
