After several efforts of tinkering around with Movable Type, we have finally decided to migrate the whole site to Word Press. Nate has been kind enough to pretty much take over the entire process after I got so fed up with Movable Type and didn't ever want to look at any code for the rest of my life. I have to say, he has gotten the prototype up and running extremely quickly. My allegiance to Movable Type may soon be over.
Regardless, stay tuned for a new layout in the near future (hopefully) with a lot of the new features our readers have been suggesting for quite some time. I'm looking forward to it!

It was reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette today that Allegheny county is being sued by two bar and restaurant establishments in downtown Pittsburgh.
As a non-smoking regular restaurant patron, I am personally disgusted that any establishment would have such disregard for its patrons and employees as to fight a law that would provide the opportunity for those people to be in the establishment without inhaling massive amounts of poisons.
I am further disgusted that they would fight the law as stooges of the Tobacco industry.
The two establishments in the lawsuit are Mitchell's Bar and Restaurant and the Smithfield Café. While I have not had any intentions to patronize either of the establishments in the immediate future, as a result of their legal action against the county, I do not plan on patronizing them ever.

We have two new authors to the site - Mike and Corinne. Mike has actually been posting for awhile, but I never made any official announcement regarding the matter. Welcome to both of you!
I've also requested updated bios from all of the authors. You can read them (not all have been updated yet since some of our authors are SLACKERS) in the "About the Authors" section on the left.

The site formerly known as "Eat It" now has its own domain name. Also it is now offically titled EatItAndLoveIt. This name is the new domain as well. http://www.eatitandloveit.com. Spread the word!
