Baba D's is not the place for me!

So if you are a falafel lover, I hear that BaBa D's may be the place for you. I have only eaten there once ... curiosity got the best of me since it is very popular with my co-workers whom I hate, therefore I do not visit BaBa D's with them. So I've never had falafel. I got falafel ball shaped things?? I guess I assumed that they would taste like Long John Silver's hushpuppies and I REALLY like those! However, they tasted like breaded hay chunks and I was sad. I also had Baba Ghannooj, a cooked eggplant goo sandwich, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. It made me gag. I don't think I will be going back there again. Not because I felt ripped off or anything, I just did not care for it.

Falaffel that kicks it up a notch, Baba D's

The falafel is way better here then Aladdin’s, that is all I’ve ever had and I enjoyed it very much.

Baba D's - Oakland

Excellent falafel, cheap. Always packed at lunch time but is a deserted wasteland at dinner time (which means that is a good time to go).
