East End Food Co-op - Point Breeze

I've been to the co-op a couple times but never bought anything. Melissa and I at work decided that we had to go there since it's only two blocks away. I purchased an egg salad sandwich and vegan potato salad. Melissa bought the same potato salad, hummus, salsa, a bag of chips, and Tazo tea. (I think that's it, I could be missing something.) So anyway my sandwich was really good, thumbs up. But the potato salad was awful. I thought it tasted very peppery and Melissa thought it tasted garlicy. I was very disappointed because I love potato salad. Melissa later told me that her hummus, salsa and tea were gross too. So we were both sad. I'm willing to give it another try, especially the salad bar. That looked good. I also think that maybe I should just stay away from the prepackaged stuff.
